Svartsot sign with Mighty Music

Danish folk metal band svartsot have inked a record deal with Danish label Mighty Music/Target Group.

The band commented: "As we mentioned in the last post, we are entering Antfarm Studio with the legendary Tue Madsen at the helm in January, where we will be recording our 6th studio album, which is scheduled to have a release around June 2025. We will bring more album-related news once we are a bit further along in the recording and pre-release process, but until then we can mention that the album will feature 9 tracks, and we are working with some very skilled people regarding cover art and photography.

Also early in 2025 we will be playing a show at VinterMetal, Skråen in Aalborg, Denmark on February 15th. This is pretty damn close to our official 20th anniversary day, which is February 17th, and we are looking forward to celebrating this with everyone at the show!"
