Lucifer's Child

History

Lucifer's Child is an unholy creation of George Emmanuel (Rotting Christ, ex-Chaostar) and Stathis Ridis (Nightfall) based in Athens, Greece, formed in 2013. The band's music serves a spiritual introduction to the atmospheric world of black metal. Pulsating the energy of ritualistic lyrics and the horrifying electricity of black music, Lucifer's Child create a unity between the sound and the spiritual idea that each creation serves to the listeners.

The first album of the band, entitled 'The Wiccan', was recorded in Athens, Greece during summer of 2014 delivering 8 blasphemed seeds at their most horrifying metal sound. The release took place during September 2015 via Dark Essence Records along with several festival performances at Inferno (NO), Blastfest (NO), MetalGate Czech Deathfest (CZ), Incineration (UK) and club shows.

It took three years of sculpting ideas and sounds until the band became ready to expose their new material that calls under the name 'The Order'. The second full length album brought Lucifer’s Child in new needs as it was a closer step to the black metal roots of the band. A new release portal was found through Agonia Records which committed to serve the new path that the band followed, and release 'The Order ' in November 2018.

After the release, a new majestic era begun for Lucifer's Child. The new album lifted the band up to the surface of the black metal scene by gaining the respect of the audiences. The album has been being nominated and elected as best album of 2018 by major magazines. As a result the band gain the attention of many festivals and events around Europe.
