North-American death metal monstrosity Ossuary Insane has always been a little deeper in the underground than average death metal bands. Well, now they have a website, but it's not too informative anyways. Judging by the new song playing on the site, they haven't evolved too far from 'Demonize the Flesh' times.

Which is exactly the thing I wanted to find out! OI's death metal is quite fucking unique, just like their countrymen Immolation's. I mentioned Immolation, because OI are as well evilly soulful band. By the way, this is already about a decade old material. OI have good riffs, which they love to mutate with various ways, eg. tempo changes from blast beats to slowish groovy beats and eveything in between. It's like they squeeze the last drop of acrid blood out of a riff. Dissonant melodies are very pestilent at their best. Everything oozes of something a bit different than typical death metal. Drummer deserves special mention for his multifarious job which is backed by rumbling bass. The sound is very live, maybe a tad swampy at times, but still organic and therefore enjoyable. Gruff vocals are angry and above all, varying, thanks to more demonic overlaps
